I have written and illustrated my first Children's book.  It was inspired by my own food garden, which my husband and I grow without pesticides.  Ladybugs are one of many creatures that are naturally beneficial to garden health.  My goal in writing the book was to introduce kids to concepts of conservation and land stewardship. Also woven into the story,  are the ideas of community and connectivity. Telling the tale from the perspective of a tiny bug, is a way of showing kids that even the smallest of us can have a big and POSITIVE impact on our world.
