About My Paintings

Here is where my tree obsession lives...I have been enamored with them all of my life; I have sketched them hundreds of times.I have planted them and played in them. I even learned to identify dozens of them by sight and in Latin!

When I went to art school, trees were my go-to subject; I went with the familiar.

Using light, shadow and perspective I create visual distortions of space. I control how much the viewer can "see in".
