I believe that drawing is pretty natural for kids; I started with stick figures like everybody else! I held a pencil before a paintbrush or a camera.
When doing a realistic drawing, I have to have an image in front of me...a "still life" of some sort. When I draw from pure imagination, the result is very different ! Check out my piece "Run with Scissors" to get a glimpse into my brain!
All drawings are my original work, and all are for sale.

I found a box in an abandoned house that boasted,
"Roll O' Paper" "Finest Quality" "25 FEET"
Being unable to resist any blank paper for pure doodle potential, I took it home.
I knew that I didn't want to do to realistic, detailed drawings. I decided that this would be an excercise of mind and hand; Any thought would give way to doodle, no eraser allowed.
I took out the precious roll of paper, unrolled about two feet...just what fit on my work table...and set down the words," Start to Let your Mind Soar"
I didn't keep track of the hours I spent, but two feet at a time, I worked. I rolled it back and forth like a scroll and never saw the full length at one time, until it was finished! Whew! The final length was 14 feet!
It ends with the phrase, "Now go Make something"
